Connected the Wemos board directly the PC (for power). D3 (GPIO0) to GND (this stays on for the duration of the upload). Wemos-D1-mini-Blink-LED. This is my first blog on WEMOS D1 mini, and what were the various parameters like board manager etc are listed here. This a 16 pin ESP8266 compatible WiFi module and can be used like any other wifi module like ESP8266 and ESP32.
The "Wemos D1 Mini" appears to be based on the ESP-8266. BTW, your voltage source is shown upside-down. The ESP-8266 ADC span is not very well controlled but it's approximately 1V. There is typically a divider - 220K in series with 100K on the input to accept approximately 3.2V F.S. cbQ5.
